Nneka Kai is a fiber and materials-based artist whose work explores mourning, memory, and survival through textiles, performance, and sculpture. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including solo exhibitions in Atlanta and Utica, and in group exhibitions at venues such as the Berkeley Art Center and the Highland Park Art Center. She is a 2023 Artadia Grant Awardee and has participated in residencies including Sculpture Space in Utica. Kai currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Pratt Munson and has held teaching and research positions at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Georgia State University.
