Sculpture
At Pratt Munson, students explore diverse mediums, techniques, and ideas, developing skills and concepts in wood, metal, clay, and plaster across core and elective courses.
Turn your vision into three-dimensional art through creative exploration
All first-year students complete the Foundation core, along with required art history and liberal arts courses, and begin the fine arts major in the fall of their second year. Continuing art history and general education coursework, second-year students take focused courses in their chosen area—painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, or jewelry. In addition to studio work, all fine arts students take departmental seminars on social, historical, and critical issues in contemporary art.
