Foster creative growth and visual ideas
At Pratt Munson, you will receive the foundation to become an effective art teacher who communicates an enthusiasm for visual ideas, facilitates creative growth, and engenders a passion for learning. During your second year, you will develop visual and communication skills and engage in a variety of fieldwork experiences. Students who major in art and design education may go on to earn a New York State Initial Certification for teaching fine arts in Pre-K through grade 12.
