International Students
To receive your visa, students must request an I-20 from Pratt Munson. Instructions for doing this will be emailed to you within 2-3 days of submitting your enrollment deposit.
To issue your I-20, Pratt Munson is required to verify your financial ability to cover estimated expenses for one academic year (Fall/Spring, 9 months).
For your I-20 application, you will need to prepare a financial statement showing funds, either yours, your sponsor, or a combination. The total amount of your financial statement(s) must account for the minimum estimated expenses in U.S. Dollars. The funds must be liquid, meaning easily and immediately accessible, and showing the equivalent of approximately $67,000 USD. If you are awarded a Pratt Munson Merit Scholarship, you can deduct the amount of your merit scholarship awarded for year one, and specify the scholarship on your I-20 application. Regardless of your personal situation, Pratt Munson cannot negotiate the standard amount you need to show for the I-20 issuance.
Defer To Another Term
Students who choose to defer their enrollment to the next term should email admissions@prattmunson.edu to notify us of their decision. A $300 enrollment deposit is required by August 1, 2025, to secure deferral to the Fall 2026 term. Submitting your deposit by this date will secure your place in our program and any merit scholarship awarded at time of admittance.
During deferment, students are not permitted to enroll full-time at another school. If twelve or more college credits are earned during deferment, students will be required to reapply and submit all additional transcripts. Placement and scholarship will need to be reconsidered.
